About the studio

Arkitekt Aslak Haanshuus AS is an architectural practice with offices in the World Heritage city of Røros and Oslo, Norway. Our work is widely recognized, exhibited at the National Museum of Architecture of Norway, at the Biennale of Architecture in Venice, and published in numerous international architecture and design magazines.

Aslak Krogness Haanshuus completed his diploma in Architecture at the Oslo School of Architecture in 2005 and pursued further studies in landscape architecture at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, as well as social science studies at the University of Tromsø. His previous work experience includes positions at Jensen & Skodvin Architects and as a managing partner at Huus and Heim Architects until 2012. He founded his own practice in 2014.
